         Clubs affiliated to the IASK teach traditional shotokan karate within a structured syllabus as laid down by Shihan Adamou who has endeavoured to follow the original teachings of his master, Kanazawa kancho 10th Dan.

 

         The chairman & Chief instructor of the IASK is Mr. Nicholas B Adamou 9th Dan who is a direct student of master Kanazawa having trained over a 25 year period under him and having achieved all of his grades from white belt up to 5th Dan from this great master.

 

         He is one of the highest graded shotokan karate instructors in Europe and has been practicing and teaching karate for 50 years and has been instructing classes at his honbu dojo in London for 40 years.

 

         He has remained loyal to the style and techniques of his master Kanazawa kancho and also to the art of traditional shotokan karate.

         Your initial application will be processed over the coming weeks once it has been received and we may contact you in regards to reconciling and verifying details before we decide whether your club can be officially recognised as part of the IASK.
